CPA-STT-2 |
The Sensor Transducer Trainer is a
modular training system which covers the theory, fundamental concepts and
applications of sensors and transducers. The trainer has many experimental
modules covering a wide range various type of sensors and transducers including
standard signals processing methods, which are required by many applications.
The trainer consists of a base station
into which a number of experiment modules can be fitted. The base station
provides common services required for the modules. A variety of modules are
available which extensively covers the topics of sensors and transducers. The
modules start with specialized electronic principles that are relevant to this
area including voltage and frequency conversions, bridge circuits, filters and
linearization. Specific application modules allow for experiments in such areas
as temperature and humidity, light, proximity, strain, pressure, flow, etc.
The trainer is suitable for learning
about various types of transducers and their instrumentation circuits that area
relevant to many fields, such as electrical/electronic engineering, chemical
engineering, process control, physics and mechanical engineering.
An experiment manual is provided to guide both of the student and
the teacher in operating the trainer and performing the experiments and covers
theory as well as practical applications.
