This is a complete system for the training in the theory, operation, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of satellite TVRO system. This trainer is especially designed for the Asian market where the reception of TV signals from the numerous satellites is becoming popular in many countries. Students that use this training system will be able to understand how these systems work and train to become a satellite TVRO technician or engineer.  We have both Analog systems which are still in common use as well as the newer Digital systems.

The EAV-SAT-1 and 3 trainer is built around a typical high power advanced satellite receiving station that can receive all the satellites that broadcast TVRO in the Asia area. It consists of a typical TVRO system that has been specially modified for training.   The EAV-SAT-2 and 4 also have an interface to a computer for analysis purposes.

The package for the EAV-SAT-1 and 3   includes everything that is required for TVRO: the Parabolic dish, dish position actuator, dish position control, feedhorn, low noise amplifier, down converter, tuner coaxial cable, television unit. The EAV-SAT-2 and 4 also included is a PC computer with special satellite analysis and dish aiming software. In addition a number of text books are provided which informs the students about all the technician details of the system. Job sheets enable the students to go through a systematic exploration of the TVRO system.
