Sectioned Outboard Engine

Labtech provided a comprehensive Small Engine training program that features many types of engines available from the major Small Engine manufacturers.  The program is designed to take the technician through several levels of training as described below:

Level 1 – Theory: Sectioned engines are used for demonstrating the operational and functional characteristics of the engine systems.  Conventional four stroke, two stroke petrol and four stroke diesel engines are available.  The model engines in section “IA” would be very useful for theoretical instruction on the combustion process and engine design.

Level 2 – Live Engines for Skills Training: These are new engines that are mounted on rotating engine stand.  They come with all basic accessories and are ready to operate.  These engines are useful for the training of disassembly and assembly techniques including rebuilding and test running exercises, tune-up, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Level 3 – Small Engine Dynamometer System: This special small engine dynamometer is an economical way to introduce the student to engine performance testing. The importance of correct tune-up procedures may be demonstrated and the effect it has on power output.  Power/Torque curves may be plotted and many exercises are covered in the manuals.

Customers may select from a variety of engine models as offered in our “Engine Data List” Shown at the end of this section.  By making a proper selection our customers can match the engines to local training requirements.  Specific engine models not included in our “Engine Data List” may be available upon enquiry.
