Labtech’s small engine training station
is especially designed to train students in the operation, tune up, and repair
of small stationary engines of the type used to drive small generators, water
pumps lawn mowers and agricultural equipment.
The units provided are new single
cylinder small engines which are from famous manufacturers that are well known
for their superior design. The engines are ready to run and include the starting
system, built-in petrol tank, magneto based electrical system, ignition system,
fuel system with carburetor and an exhaust silencer (muffler). Units come
complete with engine, rotating engine stand, engine fixture, and workshop manual
for engine repair technical information.
The engines are mounted on a specially
designed sturdy pedestal type engine stand that features a large base with
built-in drip pan. The stand enables the engine to be rotated 360 degrees for
ease of work. The stand features a special locking system that allows the engine
to be secured in 8 positions. The stand can be optionally mounted on wheels (W)
so it can be moved around the workshop. Otherwise it can be bolted to the floor
for permanent installation.
A variety of engines can be provided to
suit each customer’s particular requirement, e.g. Briggs and Stratton, Yamaha,
Mitsubishi, Kubota, Yanmar, Lombardini, Honda, Kohler, Robin. Engine models can
be selected from our “Small Engine Data Sheet”.
