This model is designed for classroom demonstration of the 2 cycle (stroke)
engine operation and combustion process. It’s design is based upon a 2 stroke
air cooled single cylinder petrol engine which is commonly used in small
stationary engines and motorcycles. Operation is demonstrated by rotating the
crankshaft utilizing the hand wheel. The carburetor is sectioned and fuel
intake, combustion, scavenging process and exhaust can be clearly shown.
Ignition is simulated by the spark plug illuminating at the moment of firing. Battery operated.

This model is useful for demonstration of the 4
cycle (stroke) combustion process and engine operation of simple petrol
engines. It’s design is based upon a 4 stroke single cylinder petrol engine of
the type which is commonly used in small stationary engines but also the
principles apply to larger engines.
