This item is part of the Labtech Petrol Fuel Injection Trainers Series. The trainers are designed to train technicians in the operation, theory, maintenance, calibration and trouble shooting of fuel injection systems. Fuel injection systems have become a common feature in vehicles as they can deliver more power while reducing fuel consumption and pollution. However, they are much more sophisticated than the carburetor systems for normally aspirated engines and require that today's automotive technician acquire a special expertise related to them.
The trainer utilizes original components and is designed so that the system is fully functional and that operation may be carried out effectively. The fuel injection system uses a special safety fluid that is non-flammable and has a similar density characteristic to petrol. All of the sensors and computer inputs are active with variable settings simulating different engine conditions.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The trainer consists of a complete, fully operational, fuel injection system. Original components are utilized and clearly laid out on a display board that is mounted on a mobile trolley. The Throttle Body Valve has been partially sectioned so as to show the inside operational detail. The trainer comes complete with a training course on the fuel injection system operation and servicing including student job sheets and a technician manual .
