This hermetic compressor analyzer is designed to test
and troubleshoot hermetic compressors as used in air
conditioning and refrigeration compressors. This can
be used in the field to diagnose and trouble shoot
hermetic compressors or component parts. It is also
an excellent tool to use together with the Labtech “Air
Conditioning Compressor Trouble shooting Training
Boards” shown on catalog page RAC2.
The unit comes in a portable case for field use. It
comes with cables and clamps that allow connection
to the compressor unit for running and testing.
It also features a digital clamp on ammeter for
measurements. Unit protects against shorts and
overloads but allows high starting load. Capacitor
leads provide means of starting split phase, capacitor start or permanent split capacitor compressors.
