(RAC3) Computer Data Acquisition System For Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Trainer

ITEM   :

COMPUTER DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM

FOR AIR CONDITIONING & REFRIGERATION TRAINERS

This data acquisition system is especially designed to give added capability for experimentation and for the monitoring the system performance on several of our air conditioning and refrigeration training systems.  Temperature, refrigerant flow, refrigerant pressure, air flow and electrical consumption can all be viewed and the data stored.  This system enhances the experience of the student by facilitating a detailed monitoring of the system performance under varying conditions.  It can be ordered as an option for the following trainers.

Model:

RBA-GCR

General Cycle Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainer (shown above)

RBA-RCT

Reverse Cycle Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainer

RCO-CRT

Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trainer

RCO-IRT

Industrial Refrigeration Trainer

RCO-HPT

Heat Pump Trainer

The system consists of a PC Computer that is set up with Data Acquisition software that can process and monitor all incoming data signals.  The computer comes with a 16 channel data acquisition board and signal conditioner.  A variety of sensors can be ordered to match with the schools requirements.  A printer is provided for data and graphic output.

The software allows the signals to be seen in “real-time” as well as storing the data on the hard disk for later analysis.  In simpler systems  the data can be output to a spread-sheet program for display, printing and production of basic graphs.  For more complex systems, it is recommended that the system includes the special data analysis software that is set up with specific graphs and outputs to view the system performance and thermodynamics.  The software is also designed to let the user set up custom tests or monitoring procedures and to format his own graphs and outputs.
