This unit is our most advanced trainer for automotive air conditioning systems and it realistically simulates the complete air conditioning systems as found in today’s automobiles. The air handling system includes blowers, vents, compressor, evaporator, condenser and controls, which are exactly as per the original factory installation on the vehicle. This unit is the best solution for training technicians in the operation, service and maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory installed automotive air conditioning systems. 

The trainer features real automotive parts such as a reconditioned original passenger vehicle dashboard with system controls, integral evaporator with blower, complete vent system for passenger area and windscreen area. The controls include the vent direction selector, blower (fan) speed and system operation switches. The system also includes the compressor with drive clutch, condenser with fan and the thermostatic expansion device. The compressor is driven by a standard 2.2 kW three phase motor and can have an optional variable speed control to simulate realistic operational conditions. Suction and discharge gauges are included to monitor performance. A built in 12 VDC power supply provides power to the compressor clutch, system controls, evaporator blower and condenser fan. A digital Temperature meter is available as an option to monitor the system operational temperatures. The Trainer comes mounted on a mobile steel stand and comes with an operation manual as well as a text on automotive air conditioning.
