HC8 HC-ACS-1 Sectioned Automotive Air Conditioning System

This Section includes a number of training systems, components and demonstration apparatus for technical instruction concerning automotive air conditioning systems.

A number of different types of systems are provided to meet each customer’s training needs including sectioned models made from original components for classroom theory instruction, demonstration units for showing various functions and applications, training systems for hands on training in disassembly, repair, assembly and troubleshooting. Program highlights are described below:

Sectioned and Operational Components: An assortment of key air conditioning components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, filter/driers, etc. are available.  These are useful for explaining the basic operational characteristics of air conditioning components.

Basic Skills Training: The Automotive Air Con Trainer (HCO1and HCO5) is a chassis type trainer that is designed to teach servicing skills on automotive air conditioning systems.  This trainer is set up as if it was on a vehicle and all parts are easily accessible during servicing procedures.

Advanced Air Conditioning Training: For those schools that wish to give a deeper understanding to the students the Automotive Air-Con Demonstration unit is recommended.  This trainer features a fully operational air-con unit which has various instrumentation attached to it for experimentation and observation of air-con performance characteristics including thermodynamics
