This Section includes various transmissions, components, axles and trainers for technical instruction on the transmission of power from the engine to the wheels.

A number of different types of systems are provided to meet each customer’s training needs, including sectioned models made from original components for classroom theory instruction, demonstration units for showing various functions and applications, training systems for hands-on training in disassembly, repair, assembly and troubleshooting. Program highlights are described below:

Transmission: A series of sectioned transmissions are provided for instruction in the theory and construction of transmissions. Original units mounted on rotating stands are utilized for hands on skill training and practice. Manual and automatic transmissions are included as well as heavy-duty transmissions for small trucks or commercial vehicles. Several special units are available for front wheel drive instruction.

Clutches: This Sectioned Clutches reveal the construction of the major types of clutch pressure plates. Demonstration units provide actual working systems whereby the student may observe the clutch in operation. Sectioned torque converters are available for demonstrating how power transmission is accomplished through a fluid rather than mechanical system.

Rear Axles: A number of sectioned and original rear axles are available for the instruction of theory, operational characteristics and hands-on skills practice.
