(BS7) Sectioned Pneumatic Brake Systems

These Sectioned Air Brake System are very useful for demonstrating the operational characteristics and service/maintenance problems that occur in complex pneumatic brake systems as commonly found on large commercial vehicles. All components are carefully sectioned and finished to show key internal details and functional aspects.

MODEL: BS-PBS-S1 (C/W): PNEUMATIC BRAKE SYSTEM (AIR ONLY)
This is an all air system and includes most of the major components found on a typical heavy vehicle or truck:

1.	Compressor, 1 cylinder	8.	Double check valve
2.	Air storage tank-circuit 1	9.	Tractor protection valve
3.	Quick release overflow valve	10.	Air storage tank-circuit 2
4.	Tractor brake valve with pedal	11.	Trailer brake relay valve
5.	Trailer brake control valve	12.	Diaphragm cylinder with brake drum
6.	Hand brake control valve	13.	Rotor chamber/spring brake chamber with brake drum
7.	Parking brake valve	14.	Demo board or steel chassis

This is a hybrid system featuring one air type brake and one air/hydraulic brake and demonstrates the uses of a combined brake system. All of the components for item 1 through 12 are the same as BS-PBS-S1 with the exception that item 13 would be a pneumatic/hydraulic brake chamber with brake drum.

OPTION: A choice of mounting style is available. Chassis (C) type mounting as pictured above mounts all of the components onto steel chassis on wheels. This unit also has pneumatic hoses connecting the parts to illustrate airflow. The Wall (W) Board has all of the part laid out on a wall display board which is convenient to hang in the classroom or workshop. Special configuration may be made according to customer requirement and other components can be included. Individual components can also be sectioned and mounted on their own wooden base as with our other smaller sectioned units.
